That frustrated expression on Frank’s face at the upper right corner is so perfect. He’s constantly having to prove that he’s NOT a bad person, but on the other hand, Anna is a small girl in a vulnerable situation, so I can’t blame her.
On a side note, “Cheap Thrills” only showed Frank’s mom in a more alluded, “Invisible parent trope” sort of way, so it would be cool if we actually got to meet her.
Well, Frank was more like comedy-relief in the anthro version and admittedly sleazier. Here he’s getting actual character development and we’re seeing how he and Anna got to know each other. I’d love to see a sketch comic with both versions looking at each other and saying “What the fuck are you supposed to be?” 🙂

Frank is creepier but funnier in Cheap Thrills.
