oh God, what happens when you double up on adderall and Zoloft?..

I was prescribed adderall in the past for my ADD. One dose makes you feel as you should. I imagine a double dose is a one-way ticket on a runaway train with no functioning brakes. Way too fast.

… yup. If Beth’s mum knew anything about what those meds do, she would be checking if there is not MORE of the adderall pills missing, not less. In higher doses, and different methods of ingestion it is basically a meth substitute. But then again, she does not exactly strike me as somebody with a background in pharmacology.

So happens I use both of those formulas myself. I’ve taken a double-dose of one or the other out of sheer forgetfulness before.

Yeah, doubling both is going to send Bethany on a very speedy, giggly run.

The furry Gladys was crazy. This Gladys is both crazy and stupid.

God, why doesn’t she just look at when her meds were prescribed, how many pills she needs to take per day and how many were in there originally? She could just count them to see if Bethany is telling the truth!

while thats true, her mom probably imagines beths been flushing them or selling them to other kids rather than taking them herself. even if the pills are at the amount theyre supposed to be at, in her mind beths already guilty

The relationship between Gladys, Beth, and Alice is written so well here. You’ve always been great with dialogue and the power struggle here adds so much context.

Also your handwriting is beautiful and I don’t know how you have the patience to write out everything

So she gets to tell you that things are fine *only* if stuff happens that clearly indicates things are NOT fine?

What a total f**k. I can actually understand Gladys’s point of view but she’s handling this, as usual, in the worst way possible. Beth probably stuck the pill under her tongue so she can spit it out later.
