This is such an elegant page in its silent storytelling, use of background and foreground, and split sides of a conversation. It’s easy to get distracted by the dialogue and not notice the amount of work that went into the staging.
I especially love that bit of emanata (?) on Darius’s hand. On top of enlivening the page as a visual accent, it’s just the perfect symbol to evoke his physical motion.
