The best and creepiest thing about this comic is the occasional callback to Cheap Thrills and its tragedies. It’s as though Jeordie has been given a do-over, but bits of his old life bleed through. Like a horrible recurring dream
Whew, at least they didn’t hit it… I’ve only ever hit an animal once in my life, and I was in tears for hours afterwards.
