I was given my first clamshell cell phone after accidentally getting left behind on a school field trip a half hour from home. I think this was in 2004? It was terrifying at the time but I laugh about it now. Liz is making a good call.
I feel that. I got my first one after getting left behind at school. We’d come back from an away basketball game and I guess somehow someone missed me. Luckily I didn’t live too far from the school so if I had to walk I could’ve.
