Poor Anna…literally. I’ve been out of high school for a long while now but I do have memories of having to “lie” about how things really were at times in order to fit in with the people I was hanging out with.
I’d also like to comment that I’m really enjoying seeing all the different faces that get illustrated into this comic, even the background characters. I read all of Cheap Thrills and while the shift from animal characters was different at first, I do enjoy this iteration of the story better. Seeing everyone as humans makes it all feel more believable overall, especially in the context of dealing with real problems that many of us go through in life.
