ah beth my poor child. i’ve been here many times…your parents knows just what to say and you end up blowing up.
i totally feel this. all throughout my teens i was forced to be the adult in every situation, and while i admit it was the best response, it was still super annoying
I never had that problem in my life but you have my sympathies.
ooh yeah this feels very familiar. I’ve had this exact conversation about my mom with my dad, and eventually I did learn to shut up and just wait for it to blow over.
