They’re adorable but I can’t help but have a horrible feeling about this. Neither Liz nor Alice are stupid. And Beth has supposed to be home by 6. And twitterpated teenagers are aloe less subtle than they think they are. Keeping the chapter cover in mind and the fact that Jeordie is *clearly* going through it lately, I don’t see this going anything but poorly. I’m so on edge
Yeah I’m so nervous. Especially the last page, the way he told his mom a bunch of negative things about her. Wanting to keep her a secret – I get it, but it also says “this isn’t serious”. And she’s loved him way too much, for way too long, for that to be anything but heartbreak for her. I know he just got his heart broken, but don’t treat Beth as a rebound :((
