i’ve never longed for a character to be a real person so i could talk to them so badly!! tell me more abt your taxidermy sculptures thats so cool…
love love love your work! your characters are so vibrant and frighteningly human! you really capture that sort of sickness and fear of being a homeschooled teen really well. it feels good to see my life so well written.
Agreed on both counts! Would be so down to chat with someone like Marty about his cool ass taxidermy projects and tattoo art.
Love this comic, it’s such a delight to read, just excellent art and writing throughout and it keeps getting better with every page!
I’m here for Marty being a fucking amazing brother. He really said it doesn’t suck to take care of his sister and loves her just as he is. Incredible writing here.
I feel the same way walking on the beach lol. The things you find washed up sometimes! I found a walking batfish after a storm once! It’s the only way to see some REALLY cool fish if you don’t have a scuba license!
Last summer I hit a mink with my car in De Pere (it happened so fast with no time to brake, sadly) and it was a miraculously clean hit—the body disappeared later the next day and I found myself hoping that if it wasn’t a scavenger that got it, hopefully a vulture culture member did. (Also, Marty is fantastic!! I hope we get to see more of him.)
oh my god I love Marty (and Marla!!!) so much ♥♥♥
